NEW: Health and Wellness Book Club

When we found out we won the Consumer’s Choice Award for “Best Naturopathic Clinic in York Region”, thanks to the votes from the generous members of our community, we started this Health and Wellness Book Club to give back to the community that is constantly giving us so much.

BooksThe book club is in partnership with the Markham Public Library, who runs book clubs at a number of their branches as well as online book clubs for specific interests (e.g., teen, busines, mystery, fiction, etc).  With many of our patients asking us about the best wellness books to read or asking our opinion about the latest health-related book they have read, we saw a need for a book club specifically focused on health and wellness books.  We started this book club to provide a space to discuss and think about wellness, a space to share with like minded people, including the Naturopathic Doctors at the Markham Village Naturopathic Clinic.

This book club is for everyone.
It is a way to meet and share with like-minded people.
It is a space to discuss your ideas and pose questions (there are no right or wrong questions or opinions).
It is a launch pad for thinking and growing.

How Book Club Works:

  1. Read about the books & pick ones you want to read
  2. Call or email us to register for that month’s book club
  3. Read the book (get it from your local library or book store)
  4. Attend the book club and share your thoughts or just listen to the discussion

The book club will meet monthly, usually on the last Wednesday of the month, excluding the summer and winter holidays (July, August, December).  Meeting are held at the Markham Village Naturopathic Clinic.

Can’t attend book club in person? Join our online discussion: www.facebook.com/healthybookclub  (no registration required)
