Dr. Camilia Destteffano, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Camilia Destteffano is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Metabolic Balance Nutrition Coach.

Dr. Camilia is passionate about, and committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care that addresses the root causes of illness. She believes that one’s food, environment and mental state are the most important determinants of health, all of which can be individually rebalanced to restore wellness under the correct guidance. With a deep respect for the body’s innate healing ability, Dr. Camilia integrates natural therapies, including: botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, lifestyle counseling and homeopathy; with evidence-based approaches to support optimal health.

Dr. Camilia works with patients of all ages and health backgrounds, commonly addressing women’s health, digestive health, adrenal health and mental health. She believes in empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to take an active role in their health journey.

With a calm and compassionate presence, Dr. Camilia meets each patient where they are, truly listens, and creates personalized plans to support long-term wellness. Regardless of where you are in your health journey, she believes it is never too late or too early to start!

Dr. Camilia completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, where she treated patients at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC), as well as the Dundas Naturopathic Centre in Hamilton. Prior to studying Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Camilia completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Health Science with honours. Post graduation, she completed additional professional training in facial acupuncture and clinical homeopathy. Dr. Camilia is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

When not in the clinic, Dr. Camilia loves cooking, travel, photography, running, and spending time with family.
